Q. How many participants does CUExpo typically attract?
Q. What languages are spoken in Ottawa, Ontario?
A. Ottawa is considered bilingual, with people speaking both official languages (English and French).
Q. What languages will be used at the conference?
A. The conference will be conducted in English and French according to the discretion of each presenter. Panels and keynote PowerPoint Presentations will be displayed in both French and English; however, there will be no simultaneous interpretation. Conference materials will be available in both official languages as requested.
Q. What is covered by the conference fees?
Full conference rates include lunches, refreshment breaks, the Engagement Fair/living library/site visits, and access to the Banquet and Awards event at the Shaw Centre. Day rates include lunch, refreshment breaks, and the day’s applicable activity (i.e. the Banquet and Awards event on May 27, or the Engagement Fair/living library/site visits on May 28).
